Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STAG3L1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STAG3L1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher STAG3L1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STAG3L1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and LUAD show a favorable association.
KIRC, STAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where STAG3L1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
