Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STAG2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STAG2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher STAG2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STAG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LSCC show a favorable association.

UCEC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where STAG2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
