Across TCGA patient cohorts, STAG2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 78 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible STAG2-associated genes across cancer lineages are ATM, Paxillin, and eIF4E. Each is linked with STAG2 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both STAG2-to-partner and partner-to-STAG2 results are reported.
