The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher STAG1 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STAG1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and OV show a favorable association.
LSCC, OV, and CCRCC are the cancer types where STAG1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
