Across TCGA patient cohorts, STAG1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,559 significant associations in total. CCRCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible STAG1-associated genes across cancer lineages are ISY1, YPEL1, and ACVR2B. Each is linked with STAG1 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both STAG1-to-partner and partner-to-STAG1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, STAG1 versus ISY1 in LSCC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.51.
