Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STAC3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STAC3 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher STAC3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STAC3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LIHC, and SKCM are the cancer types where STAC3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
