Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STAB1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STAB1 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher STAB1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STAB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, KIRP, and UVM are the cancer types where STAB1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
