Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ST8SIA6-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ST8SIA6-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher ST8SIA6-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ST8SIA6-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and ESCA show a favorable association.

BRCA, BLCA, and CESC are the cancer types where ST8SIA6-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
