The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher ST6GALNAC2 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ST6GALNAC2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC show a favorable association.
LSCC are the cancer types where ST6GALNAC2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
