Across TCGA patient cohorts, ST3GAL1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 14,414 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ST3GAL1-associated proteins across cancer lineages are MSN, C1QB, and S100A11. Each is linked with ST3GAL1 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ST3GAL1-to-partner and partner-to-ST3GAL1 results are reported.
