Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ST20 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ST20 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher ST20 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ST20 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CHOL and ESCA show a favorable association.
UVM, ACC, and KIRC are the cancer types where ST20 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
