Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SSX1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SSX1 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher SSX1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SSX1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, STAD, and GBM are the cancer types where SSX1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
