Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SSU72 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SSU72 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher SSU72 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SSU72 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CHOL and KIRC show a favorable association.

KICH, ACC, and LGG are the cancer types where SSU72 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
