Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SSTR5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SSTR5 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SSTR5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SSTR5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BRCA, GBM, and PRAD are the cancer types where SSTR5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
