Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SSTR4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SSTR4 data layer compared with 13 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher SSTR4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SSTR4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

THYM, BLCA, and DLBC are the cancer types where SSTR4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
