Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SST Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SST data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SST Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SST expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

COAD are the cancer types where SST Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
