Across TCGA patient cohorts, SST mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 58 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SST-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNA5SP158, RPL7AP23, and RNA5SP71. Each is linked with SST in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SST-to-partner and partner-to-SST results are reported.
