Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SSR1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SSR1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SSR1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SSR1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUSC, and COAD are the cancer types where SSR1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
