Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SSC4D Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SSC4D data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher SSC4D Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SSC4D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
CESC, UCEC, and HNSC are the cancer types where SSC4D Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
