Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SSBP4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SSBP4 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SSBP4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SSBP4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, BLCA, and BRCA are the cancer types where SSBP4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
