Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SSBP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SSBP2 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SSBP2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SSBP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where SSBP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
