Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SSBP2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SSBP2 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher SSBP2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SSBP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and OV show a favorable association.

LSCC, PDAC, and OV are the cancer types where SSBP2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
