Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SSBP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SSBP1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher SSBP1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SSBP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where SSBP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
