Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SRXN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SRXN1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher SRXN1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SRXN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA and LIHC are the cancer types where SRXN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
