Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SRSF8 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SRSF8 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher SRSF8 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SRSF8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and PDAC show a favorable association.

GBM, PDAC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where SRSF8 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
