Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SRSF5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SRSF5 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher SRSF5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SRSF5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where SRSF5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
