Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SRSF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SRSF1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SRSF1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SRSF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, UCEC, and CESC are the cancer types where SRSF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
