Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SRR Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SRR data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SRR Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SRR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC and SKCM are the cancer types where SRR Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
