Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SRPRB RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 17 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SRPRB’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where SRPRB RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SRPRB is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, LIHC, and COAD are the cancer types where SRPRB tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
