Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SRPK3 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 11 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SRPK3’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where SRPK3 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SRPK3 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BLCA and HNSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BLCA, LUAD, and CHOL are the cancer types where SRPK3 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
