Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SRMS Mutation is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SRMS data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher SRMS Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SRMS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and SKCM show a favorable association.

BLCA, LUAD, and SCLC are the cancer types where SRMS Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
