Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SRBD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SRBD1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SRBD1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SRBD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where SRBD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
