Across TCGA patient cohorts, SQSTM1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,888 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SQSTM1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PRDX1, NMRAL2P, and PIR. Each is linked with SQSTM1 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SQSTM1-to-partner and partner-to-SQSTM1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SQSTM1 versus PRDX1 in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.40.
