Across TCGA patient cohorts, SQSTM1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 24 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SQSTM1-associated genes across cancer lineages are FOXO3a_pS318_S321, p62 Lck ligand, and c-Met_pY1235. Each is linked with SQSTM1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SQSTM1-to-partner and partner-to-SQSTM1 results are reported.
