Across TCGA patient cohorts, SPTAN1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,302 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SPTAN1-associated genes across cancer lineages are FAM13C, SPTBN1, and CAVIN2. Each is linked with SPTAN1 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SPTAN1-to-partner and partner-to-SPTAN1 results are reported.
