Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPRYD4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SPRYD4 data layer compared with 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher SPRYD4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPRYD4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and KIRP show a favorable association.
SKCM, UVM, and ACC are the cancer types where SPRYD4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
