Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPRY3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPRY3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 13 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SPRY3 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPRY3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, GBM, and LUAD are the cancer types where SPRY3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
