Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPRR3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPRR3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher SPRR3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPRR3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
OV, LUSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where SPRR3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
