Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPRR1A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPRR1A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SPRR1A mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPRR1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and HNSC show a favorable association.

LUAD, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where SPRR1A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
