Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPRING1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPRING1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher SPRING1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPRING1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where SPRING1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
