Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPR Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPR data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SPR Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, STAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where SPR Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
