Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPOUT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPOUT1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SPOUT1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPOUT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC are the cancer types where SPOUT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
