Across TCGA patient cohorts, SPOP mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,874 significant associations in total. PRAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SPOP-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR4477A, SNORA10B, and DNAJA1P1. Each is linked with SPOP in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SPOP-to-partner and partner-to-SPOP results are reported.
