Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPON2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPON2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SPON2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPON2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC, ACC, and LUAD are the cancer types where SPON2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
