Across TCGA patient cohorts, SPON2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,099 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SPON2-associated genes across cancer lineages are POSTN, COL5A1, and ADAMTS12. Each is linked with SPON2 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SPON2-to-partner and partner-to-SPON2 results are reported.
