Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPOCK2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPOCK2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SPOCK2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPOCK2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, HNSC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where SPOCK2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
