Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPIRE2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPIRE2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher SPIRE2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPIRE2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

MESO, BLCA, and STAD are the cancer types where SPIRE2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
