Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPINK13 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPINK13 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SPINK13 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPINK13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA show a favorable association.
COAD, UCEC, and BRCA are the cancer types where SPINK13 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
