Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPIN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPIN1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SPIN1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPIN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, PRAD, and KIRP are the cancer types where SPIN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
