Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPIB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPIB data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SPIB Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPIB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, SARC, and LGG are the cancer types where SPIB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
